A comprehensive, evidence-based training program covering the full spectrum of delivery room resuscitation — from team preparation to post-resuscitation management of the critically ill newborn.
Structured across eight modules, the course follows the internationally recognized ABCD algorithm and aligns with the latest International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2020 Consensus, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Società Italiana di Neonatologia (SIN) guidelines.
Topics include positive pressure ventilation and the MR. SOPA troubleshooting approach; endotracheal intubation and supraglottic airway management; chest compressions; pharmacologic intervention with vascular access techniques; special situations, including congenital malformations and pneumothorax; and the specific challenges of preterm infant resuscitation.
The program also addresses non-technical competencies essential to effective resuscitation: structured team briefing and debriefing, simulation-based training, ethical decision-making at the limits of viability, and compassionate end-of-life communication with families.
Designed for neonatologists, pediatricians, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and delivery room nursing staff.
